The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) is a global partnership dedicated to helping low- and middle-income countries understand and reduce their vulnerability to natural hazards and adapt to climate change. Established in 2006, GFDRR works with governments, development partners, and local communities to turn knowledge into action that saves lives, protects assets, and builds resilience.
Our approach integrates disaster risk management and climate change adaptation into development planning, helping nations build back better and create more resilient communities for the future.
